Guest Poet Robert Gambogi

Her breath the only air I can breathe

Snake like she comes over me
Dark as a dream
Her breath the only air I can breathe

Lustrous with light she comes over me
Dark as a dream
Her breath the only air I can breathe

Wet from seas held within she comes over me
Dark as a dream
Her breath the only air I can breathe

Vestibule to the holy land she comes over me
Dark as a dream
Her breath the only air I can breathe

More than I ought to have or even dream she comes over
me
Dark as a dream
Her breath the only air I can breathe

Breathing fire lit before numbers before words even
she comes over me
Bright as a sun
Her fires the only air I can breathe

Robert Gambogi's questions:

1) Does the repetition work?

2) Is there development of a central image for you?
